I moved to South Carolina a few months ago.... & I began shopping at the nearby Walmart in Powdersville. The store was always clean, the employees are nice & very helpful. * Meeting the People Lead; Brenda S., I was quite impressed with her phenomenal leadership role. She's professional & very pleasant to talk with. * The Asset Protection Lead; Bobby. He's another strong leader, who's outstanding in his role. He's soft spoken but strong... in leadership!
If I could give this location zero stars, I would. We’ve lived in the area for nearly 4 years and this Walmart has never treated me with a decent experience. Between always incorrectly filling delivery orders, Continuously saying things are out of stock when they are not, And simply not wanting to help a customer it’s an absolute mess. I also understand it’s not the employee’s fault, but the store is filthy. Clothes are thrown everywhere. It’s impossible to find any sizes, People leave open food and half eaten food on the shelves. It’s literally disgusting. I should add one of the most recent times I was in there. A gentleman walked right out with a cart stacked to the sky, full of products without paying, and nobody even batted an eye. It is nearly impossible to find an employee to help someone. I have spent upwards of 45 minutes, waiting at a locked cabinet for an employee. Good luck trying to call the store because I not once have ever been able to get a hold of somebody. And the most recent issue of delaying my delivery order for almost 3 days in a row with no explanation and when I tried to call, of course, I can’t get a hold of anybody.
Would you like to receive an entire order belonging to someone else? How about expired milk, or perhaps just two rotten potatoes that you didn't even order? Maybe you'd like to receive 1/3 of your order and spend over 30 minutes just to refund the items you didn't receive because it's too much for the app to handle and you have to escalate the issue to multiple persons? All of these things have happened to me multiple times (well, except the potatoes) because I order Walmart Delivery from this store. I'm somewhat to blame, I should have stopped using this service the second, even third time there was a major issue... Especially because customer service has been particularly unhelpful. I've been asked to bring back items for my refund, including the spoiled milk, and in general everything falls on my shoulders to resolve time and time again. I have no major issues with the store itself - I've seen half eaten popsicles and snack boxes torn into sitting out on the shelves, but isn't that kind of just the experience we expect from walking into Walmart? No problem with the pharmacy as of yet. But MAJOR overhaul is needed in the delivery department to improve quality.
don’t buy lemons from this Walmart because the coaches, managers and team leads, tell their employees to pick out the moldy lemons (and other fruits and vegetable) instead of throwing away the whole entire bunch of lemons (or other fruits and vegetables) that is now cross contaminated. I have a photo, but Google reviews won’t let me add it and if you don’t believe me, please go talk to any employee in grocery because they will tell you that they are told to pick out the moldy items instead of getting rid of the whole entire batch this is disgusting. Someone is going to get sick…..
I went there today around 2pm not busy at all which is why I don't understand how rude the cashier n the "team leader" were. I put my groceries on the conveyer about 12 items n when I went to put my pasta it exploded all over the floor I immediately was asked by the cashier to "go get my own replacement " when I summoned the team lead she told me the same. Is it my responsibility to hold up a line to go look for an item in a store that obviously was not packaged properly or is it just me????????
