We found this restaurant online whilst visiting Launceston from WA and really glad we did. The Brazilian cheese bread / octopus and croquetas were all delicious. We then had the picanha and patatas bravas. The meat was so tender and tasty. Some of the best we’ve had. All food was piping hot and very fresh. And the sangria was pretty good too. Would highly recommend a visit 🌟
CALL THE POLICE! This much flavour is ILLEGAL! But seriously, really enjoyed my meal. Everything was amazing, but to my surprise the vegetables were the highlight... Not taking away from the meat, it was so soft what even the standard blunt butter knife went through it like... Butter? #NoSteakKnifeNeeded. But back to the vegetables... The beetroot salad and the corn must have been made by a magical food elfs, outstanding! Will reminisce about this meal on my death bed. But all jokes aside give this place a try. Hopefully you'll have a great experience like I did.
Had an incredible dinner at Tres Restaurant in Launceston! The Latin-inspired flavours were absolutely outstanding—every dish was fresh, vibrant and packed with flavour. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, Tres is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! ❤️
We had their tasting menu $80pp, everything was great, although for the price I would have like to have seen a more thoughtful dessert as churros seemed a little lazy. Our first server was very friendly and funny, explained the dish well, but then someone else took over who was polite but did not offer any explanation of each dish. Overall well worth a visit.
The staff are lovely, bubbly and friendly. We had our 7 year old son with us and he was spoken to by each staff member, which made him feel so comfortable. We shared the cheese bread, 1kg tomahawk with multiple sides and sadly didn’t leave enough room for dessert. Definitely would love to try one of the degustations next time!
