I'd never been here before, and was most pleasantly surprised - such a contrast to other crematoria I've had occasion to visit over the years. A lovely peaceful setting, and a beautiful little chapel, very well kept.
This is a beautiful cemetery with lovely wooded areas. The back end is pretty non descript and wide open though. Not bad parking. There were quite a few at our service and everyone got parked fine
As we usually use North Shields Crem for our family we had a job finding this one. I know now you go into Preston Cemetery to get there. Tynemouth Crem is further through. A lovely place, certainly full for funeral we went to. Nice to meet rest of family as they live outside in different areas of Europe. One thing to. Bear in mind, so many roadworks and diversions it's so easy to get lost if you don't know the area.
Well presented full of bloom small church very clean grounds well done to the caretakers there you do a fantastic job
Just watched another person let they dog pee up a headstone. BAN ALL DOG WALKERS. At least ban extendable leads.
