I gave the owner my word id leave them a 5 star review if they fixed the state they left my bumper in after they had apparently "repaired" it. Took the car in and said charge what you want just make sure everything is fixed as a 3rd party was paying the cost. Dropped the car off after a few days and got an expensive taxi home. That same day he rang me and told me he ordered the lower spec bumper lower (the black bit in the images) told me he ordered the lower spec by mistake so had to charge me/3rd party another 80. Thats where the major issues arose. So I had to collect the car untouched while they ordered the wrong bumper, setting me back 60 quid in taxis. After the 2nd time, they told me the car was ready and on inspection I instantly seen that absolute state they had left my bumper. The chrome that was cracked prior to repair, they replaced it and cracked it again hoping I wouldn't notice, or they dont check their work. On the other side of the car the other chrome trim was hanging out until he gave it a few whacks in the car park 😆. The paint was also chipped and peeling where they had fit the new black part of the bumper, not to mention the bumper wasn't even on properly. Gaps all over. It was blatantly obvious they hoped i didn't notice or they dont check their work at all. Also they didn't paint the bumper to fix the bare black plastic showing where it meets the body of the car on both sides. I gave him a blank cheque and he still missed half the work. Kicked off asked for a refund, he refused. Had the car in again and I told him if he fixed everything id be happy and he would get a 5 star review. So at this point im £120 down in taxi fairs bevause this is the 3rd time ive dropped my car off. Everything looked good till I noticed... they had cracked the left side chrome trim this time 🤦‍♂️. But I let it go coz I wasn't booking it back in. Was gonna let it slide till I noticed the chrome they had already replaced on the right TWICE has started to bulge out, i assume from snapped clips. So im not happy and will be getting the rest of the work done somewhere else. You're a nice lad mate but if you take just a little bit of pride in your work everyone would be happier.

Got in touch with Chris to get some paint work done on my Impreza Type RA as had some chip markings down driver side, both A pillars had been come faded and there was some peeling on the front grille. Chris was recommended on the NESS group and arranging the work and quote was spot on. He was very flexible with drop off and pick up being on a Sunday to help accommodate me. The quote was spot on (£1000) and the work was done within the week. Car looks amazing with its fresh lick of paint.

Would recommend 10/10. Great communication , quick service and cheap prices . I originally got quoted 750£ from another garage , then went here and got quoted half of that . He booked me in 5 days and done the job spot on ,always with a smile . Thank you !!! My car looks brand new .

Just got my car back from chris and the team at performance north east . After ringing around chris took on the job of saving the car from rust n rot . He cut and treated the areas that needed addressing. Even after agreeing on a set price he stuck to the agreed amount and still went above and beyond doing extra work that was not quoted for he also gave the car a full respray with windows out and shuts done etc . I would highly recomend he's service to anyone for fabrication or respray etc . Thanks chris we will be using your team again .. added bonus hes well known for work on old rusty subarus .
