If you are looking for a fantastic dining experience, Food Shack is an absolute must-visit! We recently stopped by and were blown away by the freshness and creativity of their dishes. We started our meal with a selection of their signature fish plates. The sweet potato crust swordfish was a standout; the crust was perfectly crisp and complemented the tender fish beautifully. We also thoroughly enjoyed the snapper and the swordfish sandwich, both of which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. To round out the meal, we couldn't resist the coconut tres leches. It was the perfect ending—light, moist, and wonderfully decadent. Between the high-quality ingredients and the welcoming atmosphere, it was a memorable meal from start to finish. Highly recommended!
Love this place! We sat on a bar section. We ordered one spicy mocktail and some other drink. We got sweet potato dish on their special menu with triple tail and chicken. It was so good. I wish i can get delivery from this place. The staffs were really nice. It was pretty cool that they uave live music next door which is a pub i think. I highly recommend. I wanna come back here if I am in this region.
Food shack is like the cozier sister to Leftovers. A little smaller on inside but serves up big flavors! I ordered the chicken and brie sandwich on a wrap (includes BBQ, fried plantains and mixed greens). Don’t skip on the spicy melon and pineapple salad. My friend ordered the classic sweet potato crusted fish on top of a salad. You could close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and it wouldn’t be a bad choice.
Amazing place to go for seafood! I feel that the star of the show was the panko fried oyster. The oyster was perfectly fried but yet really creamy and yummy on the inside. The salad with fruit pieces was a wonderful balance. I’d come back just for that dish specifically. We also ordered the sweet potato crusted fish and it was delicious too. Would 100% go back if I ever visit Juno beach area again!!
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This little restaurant is covered with stickers on the windows and a narrow patio area. When you go inside the walls are plastered with murals and beautiful art pieces. Everyone looked liked they were enjoying their food and their jobs and everything consumed was phenomenal. I will remember and recommend this little food shack to anyone. I would give more stars if I could.
