Very nice open-air restaurant. Menu seems pretty normal (aka, not fancy). But the food quality was excellent. Tasty conch fritters with the best remoulade sauce I've tasted. I wish the portion was larger. 6 would have been great, not just 4. And we ordered the cobb salad with the fish of the day, and the salmon del sol salad. On both, the fish was amazingly fresh and well-seasoned. Pretty normal-looking salads arrived, but they were flavorful. Would definitely return.
We found this little gem by the lake and are so glad we decided to stop in. The service, food, and ambiance were all absolutely wonderful. We happened to visit during happy hour, which made it even better — food was 50% off and drinks were discounted. Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Mediterranean Platter and the Conch Fritters, and both were delicious. A fun touch is the little “bar truck” by the entrance where you can grab a drink before heading into the restaurant. One opportunity for improvement would be offering alternative preparation options for some dishes. Many of the sides and appetizers are fried in peanut oil, which made it a bit challenging for us due to a peanut allergy. That said, our server Joe was fantastic — extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and very helpful in guiding us toward safe options. We truly appreciated his care and attention. The bar is very lively whenever we have gone, everyone is always so nice. We’ve only gone a few times now, it’s normally days after we’ve been at (the beach with our pups) they’re always so sweet and kind to the pups. Always offering them water or treats. The only thing I would say it’s a little cramped, especially if it’s on a busier day and there’s a lot of people. However staff is friendly, food always comes out nicely, and it’s been great experiences.
Awesome outdoor seating in the shade , but you feel the breeze! It recommends this place if you're looking for laid back outdoor vibe!
My lady and I had an incredible first experience at Lake House Bar & Grill, and we’ll absolutely be back. From the moment you walk through the gates, it feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different world. The atmosphere is chill, relaxed, and welcoming. We were first greeted by a really cool antique-style bar with a cozy lounge area, but the real beauty is tucked inside by the water. The waterfront setting creates the perfect escape. The appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell care goes into the food. The happy hour specials on both food and drinks are a huge win. A special shoutout to our server, Joe. He was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable with the menu, especially when it came to my allergy restrictions. That level of attentiveness makes all the difference and truly elevated our experience. Great vibes, great food, great service, and great value. We’ll definitely be returning.
