Korals impressed us so much we went twice during our stay. Night one was flawless, fantastic food and excellent service. Night two, the food stayed top-tier, but the service slipped a bit. The Dragon Roll was the standout and an absolute must-order, and the eel and tuna Unagi were also incredible. The tuna quality was elite!! Good drinks, great ambience, especially by the fish tank. Despite a small service hiccup, Korals is still a strong recommendation.
This place is great for dinner and a drink. It says busy so get there early. I love all the different options of sushi. The staff is amazing.
If you’re staying at the JW Marriott Marco Island (or even if you’re not), definitely make time for a meal at Koral. The food here is seriously good — fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavor. We started with the ceviche, which was super bright and refreshing, and then moved on to the local grouper — cooked perfectly and so flaky it almost melted. The sides were just as good — everything tasted really fresh, not overcomplicated. Even the bread they bring out is next-level. For dessert, we had something chocolatey (wish I remembered the name!) that was totally worth every bite. The vibe is upscale but still relaxed — you don’t feel like you have to be super formal. Service was great too — friendly and quick without feeling rushed. If you’re into seafood or just want a really good meal with island vibes, Koral is 100% worth checking out.
A very disappointing experience for such a high scale restaurant. Most of the food was okay, but definitely not worth the high end price. The service was abysmal and slow. I do not recommend the torched sushi rolls. They ended up having a funny aftertaste and I couldn't even finish mine. The dim sum, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, and shrimp tempura rolls were fine. Probably will not go back again.
We didn’t actually eat food here. We came here for pre-wedding drinks. So, I’m giving the drinks 5 stars. We came to the restaurant around 4pm. It was empty and we went to the bar to get drinks. I had never tried an espresso martini. This was my first one, so I may not be the best judge- but for me, it was SO GOOD! I LOVED it! If you’re a martini aficionado, then you may have a different opinion. My friend also ordered one and loved it. Another friend ordered a rum and coke. The coke was flat, but they went and changed the filter and gave her a new one. We sat by the restaurant window- we had our choice of seats. We enjoyed the view and our drinks. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to charge the drinks to our room. I’d love to return here for dinner sometime so I can give a more accurate review.
