From start to finish amazing!!! We frist ordered drinks a corona a lemon drop martini which was soooo good. What we ordered to eat was hands down delicious!! As appetizer we had the big boys buffalo chicken dip and sweet thai chili calamari OMG! As our entree we ordered the grown up grilled cheese and the Aloha burger. Can say enough everything was delicious!!
While visiting the area for a wedding someone suggested this amazing place. We could tell right away that we would love it. Friendly staff and our server was excellent and knowledgeable. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We ordered a biscuit and graveyard to try it was fantastic. Shrimp and grits was tasty. Aloha burger was cooked perfectly and the yuca fries were delicious. We would love to go back. The atmosphere had such a fun vibe. Till next time.
Visited for the first time and was very pleased with my experience. The setting from the outside to what you walk into is a total 180. From a busy road to a tropical oasis, the waterfront vibes, decor and great attitude from staff make this a fun and vibrant experience. We ordered their spicy shrimp bites to start, playa bowl and Hawaiian shrimp combo. The food was fantastic, fresh and flavorful with fair portions. Our wait staff was attentive and friendly all throughout. Overall, this is for sure a must visit spot!
Guanabanas is one of those places that feels like a true Florida experience. The entire restaurant is outdoors, but don't let that deter you—there are plenty of fans throughout the property that keep things comfortable even on warm days. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. It's a beautiful tiki-style restaurant right on the water with lush tropical landscaping, a small river-like water feature running through the property, and live music that adds to the laid-back island vibe. You truly feel like you've escaped somewhere special. The food was good, and while it is a little on the expensive side, that's to be expected for a waterfront restaurant in such a unique setting. You're paying for both the food and the experience, and the atmosphere definitely delivers. If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy a meal, listen to live music, and soak up some classic Florida waterfront charm, Guanabanas is worth the visit. (My kids weren’t a fan of the Mac n cheese FYI)
The ultimate Florida waterfront dining experience Guanabana's is one of those places that just gets everything right. The food is consistently delicious, the tropical atmosphere is spot-on, and the setting alongside the river — with boats pulling up and tying off to come in for a meal — gives it an effortlessly authentic Florida beach vibe that's hard to find anywhere else. This place is popular for good reason, so expect a wait. On our first visit we couldn't get a table right away, but honestly it wasn't a problem at all — we grabbed a beer and a cocktail and enjoyed them right by the river, which ended up being a great experience in itself. By our second visit we were seated immediately, so your luck may vary depending on the day. Service was solid and perfectly fine — the staff were attentive when they came around. It just didn't quite have that extra wow factor to push this to a full five stars, but it certainly didn't detract from an otherwise wonderful experience. Come with good company, soak up the scenery, and enjoy the delicious food!
