They were out of corned beef for the reuben I wanted to try, but the club sandwich was good, as my second choice. Best beer battered 'shrooms around and our server today(Wed July 8 11 am) was the BEST!! We loved her. We'd go back just to see her again. A pro!
Fun place to watch a ball game over an impressive sports bar menu, lots of appetizers, great clam chowder, burgers, wings etc. There are TVs everywhere and the quality of service is top notch. Plenty of beers on tap but they do have terrific Guinness and know how to make it a good pour. A couple of the bartenders are exceptional and attentive keeping your glass full. Surprisingly quick food service. Gets crowded at the bar but plenty of tables and seats around bar perimeter to feel welcomed. Foxboro never disappoints.
Great idea for us New England transplants to FL but falls short. Inside is a great atmosphere with many different sports on the many TVs. Lots of sports memorabilia. Service was very good and friendly. However, it took an hour to get our food. And when it finally came we had to wait for one order of ribs. The server did offer a free bowl of soup to the person in our party that had to wait so that was very nice. When the ribs came they were not hot. You would think they would be hot off the stove. The rest of the food just was ok. Would rate 3 stars but to wait an hour for our food when there were not many people there was unacceptable. Will not return.
Hit or miss here. Last week it was quiet and had pretty decent pub food for a table of 5. Friendly waitress. Everyone seemed to enjoy their burgers, fish sandwich etc. Tonight was busy due to Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins games. My buddy is hard core Boston sports guy. He spent 20mins trying to get staff to put all three games on TV's was like pulling teeth. You'd think they'd be prepared for nights like this. Ordered some food. Another couple across the bar table ordered at the same time. They got their food in like 5mins and left within 45mins max. Meanwhile, we were still waiting. Waiter forgot to put in order. He apologized. Put it in and still waited what seemed like forever. Wife ordered the quiche and soup. Quiche was luke warm at best. I ordered chicken tenders. Menu said 1/2 pound. Seemed more like 6oz at best. And they forgot the blue cheese. My wife asked for a water several times and waited 20mins plus to get it. Happy hour drinks 2 for 1. She ordered a cosmo. She poured both into one martini glass. Waiter said they were short staffed. Just an overall failure all around. Left shortly thereafter. Not likely to come back. If you call yourself Foxboro's maybe be better prepared for NE sports games. Despite issues, waiter offered nothing. I paid for drinks and nothing else. Going out these days often ends up in disappointment. Never enough staff. Look elsewhere.
I came in at 8:49 PM with a group of four. I recommended this place because I think they have very good burgers, and very cold beer. The bartender immediately told me in my group that the kitchen was closed because it was too slow. I looked around and there was at least nine people at the bar plus my group of four and about four tables in the restaurant. She insisted that they were the kitchen was closed even after I told her that I wanted to buy four burgers plus beers With I’m sorry and we left this was a horrible experience. I won’t be coming back. I was with a group of four Latinos and we definitely felt discriminated.
