A great local place that I've been to several times. Every time we visit our friends in Estero, (we're from California) we come to Fernandez. Their sandwiches, plantain chips, tostones and sweet plantains are amazing!! Service is usually great, too. Today, our server missed a couple of items when we came at 4pm for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday. The food is always delicious, though! We had a Fernandez cubano sandwich, chicken chimi sandwich and 3 taco combo. We were all very happy with our choices.
Came here once already with my wife and loved it , came back today with my father in law for father's day , who definitely appreciated it ( he is from Santiago de Cuba 🇨🇺) him & my wife said everything tastes 100 percent authentic & we will be back many more times . They had a guy doing live music 🎶 today and he was exceptionally talented. Loved the cool decor in the men's bathroom- Cuban vibes 👌
The food wasn't what I had hoped it would be. It was good, not great. Our server, Lisa was friendly and knowledgeable. Attentive and accommodating. The inside is nice. It's clean and interesting. Big screen TVs and a nice bar. It was easy to find and plenty of free parking. You can make reservations but they are not necessary.
The food here is absolutely fantastic—the steak was perfectly grilled and the tostones were a highlight. Great atmosphere as well, especially with the decor. However, the service was quite slow during my visit. It felt like the staff wasn't paying much attention to the customers, which was disappointing given how good the meal was. I’d definitely come back for the flavors, but I hope the service side of things improves!
First time at this location. Gosh, we have to say we like this location even more than the Immokalee location, which has been our one and only location to go to all this time. They have several locations, and they all make the same, fabulous food! The staff are dedicated and happy to be there, a novelty it seems in this day and age. Fun and beautiful location. Thank you for a fabulous holiday lunch with my family. We want to make visiting a holiday tradition, but you know we'll be back much more often than that!
