Debbie is absolutely fantastic. She is always so quick and so thorough with everything. We came to her back in 2022 to file 2021 taxes. She reviewed our 2020 taxes and saw an error (after we had filed them ourselves) and was able to do an amendment and brought us back over $6k! She has also helped me set up my small business - getting registered, licensed, tax id, the whole 9-yards. I went in yesterday with questions regarding submitting sales tax for my small business and she was so kind in walking me through the process. I have recommend Down South Accounting to several individuals and will continue to recommend them!

After going to the same accountant for many years, it was a hard decision but when I moved from NJ to NC I decided it would be best to find someone in NC to make things easier for me. I was very lucky to be referred to Debbie and Karen at Down South Accounting & Tax. I had the pleasure to work with Debbie, and I hear Karen is just as wonderful. They go above and beyond and the extra mile as far as service, knowledge and understanding your individual needs. I have referred many clients from the office I work in, and received Thank you notes from our clients stating what a great experience they had and thanking us for recommending Down South Accounting to them. I'm a first time client. The reviews were spot on. Debbie was very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She went over every document with us. I'm very pleased with their fees. Our last tax preparer charged DOUBLE, and took months to prepare a simple tax return. Debbie took one week!!! We're customers for LIFE!!!!
