Great experience from start to finish. We read a lot of horror stories online and in the news about home builders and did a lot of research before choosing DMI. The team was easy to work with and our sales guy and point of contact, Greg, could not have been better! We received a lot of comments from our new HOA neighbors on how clean they kept the building site during the construction process. The quality of the home exceeded our expectations. There were no extra surprise costs which seems to be a big problem these days. We’ve been in the house for 2 months now and are very happy with it. Any small concerns or items that came up were handled fairly and quickly. We even made changes throughout the process which they accommodated. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home.

Hands down the easiest experience we have had having a home built. The team was seamless from design to color choices. We made some changes to the floor plan, and they accommodated without hesitation. The interior finishes were perfect and looked exactly like the model home as they were promised. The one warranty issue we had was resolved the same day. If you're looking for a home builder that treats your new home like their own this is the team to hire.

After seeing the model on Kismet, my husband & I signed a contract with DMI the last part of 2023 with an expected finish date of December 2025. Our house is now ready to move into 3 months early!! YAY!! Even the punch list has been completed - wow!! This is our 4th house we've built & we are 100% happy with DMI!! They are So Professional, efficient - they deliver what they promise (or better)! Right out of the gate - when DMI came in to prep the property - they put up a construction - temporary border & their work area was so neat/organized. I never had to apologize to the neighborhood for their construction. Every moving part of the construction was seamless & easy. I don't remember having any issues, however, there were times we had questions, and they were all dealt with quickly & professionally. The building process couldn't have been any better - I don't have any suggestions to the DMI team what they could do to improve. Thank you for delivering a top-notch product!!

We are very pleased with the home build by DMI. They have a great team from core family leadership to the job superintendent (Jose). If you are looking for a trustworthy well established contractor, these are the people you want.

Signed contract 6/ 2021- Closed 8/2023 Yes, they delivered a home and it is habitable. We would not refer DMI Homes to anyone. The following facts are why. Communication over this very extended time was very very poor. We expected the portal would make communication easy and effective. We thought we would be able to watch the progress of the home. It did NOT. We were told months later to not even look at the portal it will never be correct. The signed contract from the start said all extra costs would be settled at the closing. NOT true. They sent the first bill totally unexpectedly a few days before Christmas and said we had 5 days to pay it . When we inquired about it they said the contract was informational only and they could change the rules whenever they wanted. We have the emails and can prove that. OK, even if that was the case shouldn’t they let us know! When severe overages were billed in December 2022 we asked if we could possibly work with the builder to make payments as the overages were incurred and maybe delete some of the menial items (like no wire closet inserts) and we got ZERO response even after multiple attempts. We spent the next 8 months in fear of what the cost would be. Bottom line. DMI has zero respect for their clients, at all. In the two form letters we received, over the entirety of our build, it spoke over and over again about how bad THEY had it. Yes, IAN was a terrible tragedy BUT it was a tragedy for EVERYONE not just DMI. I believe 100% they have forgotten that behind every contract for a build is a family, people needing a home. Final warning to buyers. We closed and we still have cabinets missing (which they told us they make in their own workshop and the cabinets have been missing for months) our VERY expensive metal roof still isn’t fixed (and they acknowledged months ago it was not installed correctly) Since closing we have emailed twice asking for an update on those items –and to no one’s surprise NO RESPONSE. Oh and no we did not get any discounts, matter of fact the cabinets and roof went way over budget and we paid every penny. We have recently looked at other reviews and someone else just said the same thing. Once DMI got final payment they haven’t heard back from them either.
