Honestly, this was an amazing stay. My partner and spent a long weekend at The Cottages Bendigo and absolutely loved the accommodation. The rooms are spacious and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the large bath in the room it was a great feature and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the host was incredibly welcoming and lovely. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.
Pure Land in Bendigo. Spent 5 nights in Rose Cottage, in this delightful cluster of miner’s cottages backing onto historic Hustler’s Reef, a goldfield with a tragic past. Stunning, peaceful garden. Brilliantly outfitted cottage with so many thoughtful, practical touches. Superb fresh-cooked breakfast. It’s all a reflection of the kindness and warmth of host Diane. All this and so close to everything, including the justly famous art gallery. We’ll definitely be back.
We had a 1 night stay in Bendigo to visit the Frida Kahlo exhibition, on our return journey from a very quick trip to SA. The Cottages Bendigo was a perfect choice for us, including being centrally located, but in a quiet area. We stayed in Robins Nest, one of three cottages set within a beautiful garden. Orientation of each Cottage provides privacy, and ours was quiet, peaceful, clean, comfortable, warm, and had a lovely ambience. Diane is a great host and cooked us a delicious breakfast, cooked exactly how we like it. We hope to come back to Bendigo for a longer stay to explore the area, and would definitely stay at The Cottages again. Thank you Diane
We were traveling to Bendigo and being spontaneous. Luckily got a night available here. Everything is nice(I love the garden!) Diane is such a kind host. She gave us advice on where to go and made a big breakfast for us. A very good place to stay. We are a couple with a one year old bub.
If you're considering staying at the Cottages, just do it. The cottages themselves are lovely and spacious to stay in (I was in Rose Cottage), it's located in a nice, quiet street just a short walk away from the noise of the Bendigo CBD, you get an awesome breakfast every day, the hostess (and her dog) are absolutely lovely people... There's absolutely nothing not to love about this place, and we will be staying here again if we ever return to Bendigo. Thank you Diane.
