A spontaneous Google of Bendigo pub lunch specials for a Tuesday, and we came up with this gem. $15 lunch specials with many to choose from. I chose the parma with chips. The parma was perfectly cooked with a generous coating of melted cheese, and chips were hot, fresh and crispy. We were served by a gorgeous young man who was polite and attentive. Fresh, well prepared pub fare under the trees. Will make it a 'local'. Give it a try!

I recently visited Bridge Hotel Bendigo and had such a great experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout the visit. The food was absolutely delicious—generous portions, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they focus on quality and consistency. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or a dinner outing, this place definitely delivers. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Bendigo—such a great spot for good food, great vibes, and excellent service!

I have been here before, but recently ive been more often! The food is yum here and the drinks are also a win. But mostly the staff here are all wonderful! I was here for a birthday the other night and the guy serving our table (didnt get a name, sorry!) was very charismatic and attentive! Sophie is also incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. I hope they get the recognition they deserve for the effort and passion they put in to their jobs, the staff here are absolutely aweosme and definitely an asset worth mentioning! Thankyou for your hospitality. I will definitely be back again soon 🥰

My first day in Bendigo for work and I had no idea where to eat, so I just followed the sound of music and conversation and ended up at the Bridge Hotel. I kept it simple — a parmigiana and a beer — but it was exactly what the afternoon called for. The parma was hearty in that old-school pub way, the beer properly cold, and outside there was jazz floating through the courtyard, mixing with the late sun. Time seemed to slow down a notch. The bartender, a genuinely lovely bloke, had that easy warmth that makes you feel like a regular even when you’ve just walked in. No rush, no pretence — just good, honest hospitality. Sitting there, I had this funny thought that the whole place felt like something out of Schitt’s Creek — a little quirky, very human, unexpectedly charming. For a first impression of Bendigo, it couldn’t have been better.
